This is the 11th or 12th Bark Fooey, but this will be the first BF I have ridden in two years. Due to a major accident and a family tragedy, I have had to sit out the last two rides. So this year, I am super excited for this ride.
- SAG this year will be handled by the lovely and talented Brenda Fritts Quayle. As always, we have limited space so pack lightly.
- Funds for SAG
- Depending on how many riders we have, I will start a PayPal thing-a-ma-jiggy and ask for donations. Your donation is also your registration. Pay and you are in. Im thinking at most, it will be $30. Funds go toward gas and anything else our SAG may need.
- Maps and routes. If you go to BarkFooey.blogspot.com, you will find the link to the goodies including GPS goodies.
- Hotels.
- Everyone needs to find their own hotel. I have suggestions if you need them. In Bellingham, the Coachman is the designated end of day one and start of day two.
- Being the procrastinator that I am, I have not secured a room in Vancouver yet. I'll take care of that soon. wish me luck.
- Fireworks.
- This year, we are trying something different. Rather than having a view room, we are going to walk down to English bay and be part of the throngs of people watching them from they bay. could be fun. Could be horrible. We shall see.
- Proposed new starting point.
- Bark Fooey virgin, Ben Truelove has suggested a new start that includes an awesome trail route. I rode it recently and I really like it. the new route avoids that killer hill at the start in woodinville.
- I want to know if this is more or less convenient for you. I want to do what is best for the majority. So please go here and take this short survey.
